Dear Waltraud,
to loose a friend not by death but by drifting apart from one another because of changing situations, differences in culture, faith or attitude to life sometimes is more frustrating than to loose one by death. Death you can accept as unavoidable. This other way of loosing a beloved friend creates lifelong thinking or regret about your own behavior.

yes, we loose dear friends in life, sometimes we get in touch again, but fortunately we find others when fate is generous.
