Dear poem,

if we are prepared for all kinds of happenings in life, there will be nothing left to look forward to...

Lieber Bernhard, das war nun (m)ein Experiment, das Werk von der Person deutlicher zu unterscheiden, in dem ich den Kommentar zunächst an das Gedicht richte (oh mein Englisch! ;-) )... ich werde dies heute noch mehrmals probieren :-)
