Dear Christina,
it was a hard time to watch my friend suffering. She died although the doctors tried all they knew. It was too late when the cancer was diagnosed.

I do not hope your poem is autobiografisch. Cancer is not always deadly anymore when diagnosed early.
I was healed from cancer of the bladder 20 zears ago.

Dear Karl-Heinz,
the poem is not autobiographical in the original meaning. It is autobiographical in a way because I saw my friend withering away with cancer of the pancreas. It was a hard time.

es war die verzweifelte Bitte einer Freundin, jedesmal, wenn ich sie im Krankenhaus besuchte, bevor sie von ihrem Leiden erlöst wurde.
