Dear Gundel, the poem is related to my flight to Canada in the year 1982 and the feeling to fly high over the clouds. On the other side the poem describes my longing for freedom when looking to the blue sky and to raise the wings of my soul to leave behind the daily routine to catch a breath of freedom. Best regards, Inge Liebe Gundel, zum einen bezieht sich das Gedicht auf meinen Hinflug nach Kanada im Jahre 1982 und das herrliche Gefühl, über den Wolken zu sein. Zum anderen beschreibt es beim Anblick des blauen Himmels symbolisch die Sehnsucht nach Freiheit und den gefühlsmäßigen Aufschwung, Alltagsroutine hinter sich zu lassen, Freiheit zu atmen.
