FARE THEE WELL

Let yourself cradle,
caress,
awaken,
by the breeze
that brings the note to you,
our notes,
of a nostalgic time
carved
in our hearts,
in our emotions.

The breeze knows
that I must leave
forever.

I wish not to get acquainted with
the tears that
clear,
pure,
flow
from your sweet eyes
or of my heart
no longer will anything remain
as I turn away from you
to return to her.

Who knows what they will think
the self-righteous hardliners,
but maybe they have never
truly loved.

What can a man feel?
What can a woman feel?
Those people,
what do they know about that?
And I ask fate that may seem cruel,
but fate is never harsh,
fate is destiny:
Why her first
And not you?
Why do I find myself today
to her fatally chained?

"Fare thee well.

A friend (LOVE) like thee
might bear
my soul to hell."

"Fare thee well.
A friend (LOVE) like you
might bear
My soul to hell."

(Twelfth night-Shakespeare)

Fare thee well, my love.
Yet, my heart tells me
that it will only be a goodbye.
If you don't erase me
from your thoughts
I will always be near you.
My heart will always be with you.
I will see you
in the world of your fantastic dreams
and from your amazing dreams
never let me escape again.
When darkness falls
lift your eyes to the sky.
In every twinkle
you will see wandering
my soul,
lonely,
in love,
that is already asking fate
to free it from the chains
to let it
forever
return to you.
