When I woke up this morning
I was feeling bad
I was only yawning
And just going mad
I walked to the bathroom
But it was engaged
It wasn’t free soon
So I became enraged
After I’ve managed to go in
I was quite alright
But the mirror, oh dear, my skin
And what a bad night
Morning, yawning
How I hate
Morning, morning
And how I fade
In the morning
Well, then I dressed me up
But it was just 8 o’clock
So I made up my face
And then grabbed my case
But the taxi wasn’t yet there
Qu’est-ce que j’ai pu faire?
I hurried into a tram
Suddenly there was a bam!
The accident was terrible
And my lost time horrible
I was very desperate
And how I hate
Morning, yawning
How I hate
Morning, morning
And how I fade
In the morning
I waited for a bus
But he had a delay
Oh there was a fuss
In my nervous brain
And then I saw him
Delighted I went in
I could see the airport
So I thanked the Lord
I rushed quickly to the flight desk
And again my brain was in a mess
Because they said:
„The plane has a defect.
Sorry, but you have to fly tomorrow!“
Oh, so why all my hurry and sorrow?
Morning, yawning
How I hate
Morning, morning
And how I fade
In the morning
