Where do we go from here -
with the excitement of new love
gone long since
from our relationship?
What are you aiming for?
Continuity,
safety,
the kind of indifferent friendship,
which makes it possible
to stay together forever?
Or should we kindly allow ourselves and each other
to separate and
really try and make a new beginning …
to make the excitement,
enjoyment,
impatience of love
return to our lives ….
well aware that none of it will last forever?
I am planning to publish a collection of poems on relationships. To find topics to talk about I just had to keep my eyes and ears open. So a lot of people have knowingly or unknowingly contributed to the realization of my plan. Thanks!Commentaire d´auteur
